PlayStation 5 Pro Teardown Video Reveals Easier to Repair Components - TechEBlog
We’re just days away from the PlayStation 5 Pro launch, and this teardown video shows exactly what upgrades you’ll find underneath the shell. For starts, it has a more powerful GPU, advanced ray tracing, and a new PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) upscaler.
Put simply, the GPU is approximately 45% faster and the CPU remains the same clock speed, but can be boosted an additional 10%, while the console’s memory is 28% faster. Plus, the PS5 Pro has 2GB of additional DDR5 RAM, enabling developers to utilize the full 16GB for games, a function that was not possible on the base model because some of the RAM was reserved for the OS.
